Bzzz Interaction design is the company of Isabel Fróes. In short Isabel divides herself working both as a practitioner and scholar in the field of interaction design. Always with the focus towards meaninful interactions between people and technology and having taught courses such as “the culture of play”, “interactivity in the museum space” and “understanding interaction design”, she taps into the values and uses of newly developed technologies, trying to foresee how they could strongly affect the ways new concepts and activities are socially and culturally developed. She has presented some of these thoughts at various events such as AAM conference (2009), IXDA South America (2010, 2011), among others.

Besides doing private interaction design consulting and interactive installations, she's also a lecturer at IT University of Copenhagen where she has taught and advised in the last 4 years and a visiting lecturer to the Information Experience Design Programme at RCA. Besides these, she eventually teaches at University of Copenhagen, Kolding School of Design and works as an examiner at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. She has co-organised seminars such as Service Design while working with CIID, and more recently Net-Cultures: Mobility and location in Social Networks and has recently co-written a paper about play and museums published in Museums at play: games, interaction and learning (MuseumsEtc, 2011).

(And due to busy times, she has overlooked her website, so forgive the simplicity but if you want to know more or get in touch, drop an email to isabel at bzzz dot dk and if you want to know what else I have done, please have a look at my CV.)
