Bzzz
is the creative consultancy firm of Isabel Fróes. She has over 20 years of experience in the
field of user research, UX, interaction and service design covering a variety of design
methods including: UX research and analysis, user-journeys and scenarios,
concept development, participatory approaches, prototyping, play x playfulness and communication
platforms. Having worked both as a scholar and practitioner in cities such as
New York, Mexico City, Los Angeles, São Paulo, London, Milan besides over 18 years of
work in Denmark, Isabel brings an international perspective combined with
a capability to help transform ideas into tangible outcomes. As a scholar,
with a background in psychology and interaction design, she keeps researching
on links between people/spaces/technology perceptions through a user-centered
approach with creative methods.
Besides consulting, Isabel has taught and advised at various educational institutions, such as the IT University
of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School (CBS), the Royal College of Art (London), University of Copenhagen, Kolding School
of Design, CIID and eventually works as an examinator
at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and
Conservation and the Danish Technology University (DTU). Isabel has a PhD in digital design, which was a transnational
research between Japan and Denmark, investigating young children's play
practices with tablets.
Currently, as an assistant professor at Copenhagen Business School, she is applying design research and design thinking methods in the field of urban development on European projects. She also enjoys sharing some thoughts on Medium.
